El Tambo

El Tambo in Cauca becomes a light of hope, reveals the reality of the women in this area, women who in the past had to collect coca leaves in order to survive, exposing themselves to dangers that they now remember with pain, but which have also become their new opportunity in life. Thanks to illicit crop substitution programs, women like those in El Tambo have access to productive processes for generating income through community work. Now this community stands out for its coffee crops, pig farms, and other products, which have become the livelihood of them and their families.
